NON-INDIGENOUS HERITAGE
Sites and relics older than 50 years are protected by the NSW Heritage Act. As a result, projects likely to impact on these places will require survey and assessment to document the significance of any remains or ruins and the degree of the proposed impacts. OzArk can undertake surveys and assessment of non-Indigenous heritage and help the client navigate through the legislation, permits and procedures required for successful project completion. OzArk has in-house expertise, established contacts with key personnel in appropriate organisations as well as a team of associates in related disciplines, including:
- Historical research;
- Oral history, and;
- Artefact identification and assessment.
